- Go to www.openoffice.org in your browser
- Click on "I want to Download Open Office.org"
- Locate version 3.1 and click on it.
- Click on "Download Now"
- Wait for the download dialog box to appear and click on [Save File]
- Wait for the Setup dialog to finish downloading (this may take awhile)
- Follow the steps given
- Reboot your computer
